Shannon Sullivan
Hey! I, Shannon Sullivan, am a contemporary musical theater artist. I am a Philly/New York-based actor now that I have graduated with my B.F.A. in musical theater from University of the Arts.
When I was little, I loved singing along to all the pop divas, some including Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and Beyoncé. My parents also introduced me to theater when I was young. In my home state, Maryland, I saw lots of national tours and when I was 10 years old, I saw my first Broadway show: Wicked. My life changed forever when I was cast as Mitchie in Camp Rock the Musical in 6th grade. I couldn’t believe there were musicals that embodied rock and pop music. I decided I wanted to make theater my career.
When I’m not performing, you can find me hanging out with family and friends, in a group fitness class, or putting Old Bay seasoning on every food I eat.
